Tutone56 Posted March 31, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2023 Late last year we booked a cruise to New England and Canada out of Manhattan. We wanted to book out of Boston because the port is a closer drive for us but it would have been twice as much. Just curious if anyone knows why? ChiefMateJRK Posted March 31, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 31, 2023 Same cruise line? If NCL, what were the ships?
Rare Tapi Posted March 31, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 31, 2023 (edited) Supply and demand I’m guessing. If you’re looking strictly at NCL, the ship out of Boston is smaller with less capacity. Also, balconies might be at a premium since the ship out of Boston has considerably less . Edited March 31, 2023 by Tapi
julig22 Posted April 1, 2023 #4 Share Posted April 1, 2023 Same itinerary, other than starting point? I chose Boston because I wanted to end in Quebec.
Tutone56 Posted April 1, 2023 Author #5 Share Posted April 1, 2023 Boston was the Pearl with a slightly different itinerary in Canada than the Escape out of NY. The Maine ports were the same.
