YEAH--- It's almost here the big last week countdown has begun and the six of us cannot wait!!! We will be in Cocoa Beach two days early and were thinking of taking a casino day cruise on Sunday on either "Sterling" or Sun-Cruz out of port canaveral--- Just wondering if anyone has ever been on these and what to expect-- how big--are there enough tables-- what are the mim.bets(we love to play three card poker)-- and is there an admission charge??? Any info would be great!! HAPPY SAILING to all:D :D

I did one and it was great fun, I dont play tables but play slots and about 10 min before the casino closed, I decided to drop 10 dollars in a machine, I had stopped playing a few hours before but thought ok what the heck, I won 3000 in 2 pulls!

The only charge is the actual charge for the cruise and then of course your gambling money, food, and drinks.

One of the cruises actually went to the Bahamas and back so required a BC or passport, which we didnt have since we were just in FLL for the week. The one we did was a night cruise for about 7 hrs, but it was still loads of fun.

They had buffet dinner, not too bad but not great, they offered a snack bar and it was a bit pricey and the drinks were a bit more expensive than the average cruise but I would definately recommend doing it and would go again in a minute. Oh and you tip at dinner, they have a sign up on the tables, or they did on the one we went on.

I looked up Sterling & the site said no charge. Buffet is something like cold cuts, not fancy. Also said free drinks as in land casinos. Wish I could remember the site because no pricing was in the "Sterling" sites I googled. It must be one on that list tho. Time was 7-MN so we opted out having just driven 8+ hrs to PC. Sounded like a great deal if you are there already & not exhausted!
