CGAGE Posted March 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2006 We got home a couple hours ago from our sailing on the Miracle and it was great! We LOVED our Platinum perks! On top of being just an outstanding time...we unfortunately missed Costa Maya due to large swells...and yesterday during our day at sea...a passenger was evacuated by the US Coast Guard for some sort of medical emergency. I'm not ready to write a review...but will answer any questions that I can! Already missing my cabin and Yopie our steward!!!

NoleChick03 Posted March 12, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 12, 2006 Leaving on Miracle on 03/19/06...My boyfriend is a big college basketball fan and of course we are sailing during the first round of march madness tournaments. What type of tv channels can we expect in order for him to keep up with the games.

CGAGE Posted March 13, 2006 Author #7 Share Posted March 13, 2006 Momofzeke..."Goose" was our cruise director...he wasn't bad...not the best I've had ever...but seemed nice! We started to do the Pub crawl on Monday night and Goose and the other Social hosts were putting the "P" in party! Also...we've been to Costa Maya...so we weren't too bummed! Iluvdoxies...No...they were not in place upon arriving at the ship. We had straightened everything out through Carnival and their website before we left...but unfortunately we had already received our Documents...so nothing on our original paperwork reflected the Platinum status. I have to give them credit though...both at Embarkation and once we arrived at the Concierge Desk. By Monday a.m....we had the Platinum card in hand, stationery in our cabin and official welcome letter. There was no behind the scenes tour offered at all. There was a private Galley tour...but it was during the Coast Guard evacuation...so we missed the tour. William at the Concierge desk personally escorted us to the tenders in Grand Cayman and Cozumel. We went right to the front of the line...I have to admit...it was AWESOME!!! Any other questions I can answer...let me know! BTW...we absolutely love our 6 year old Mini Doxie named Murphy!!! She's the best dog...I love your signature!!! NoleChick03...we watched local affiliates out of New York on all the major networks besides Fox. The sports bar is pretty cool...I would assume they would be able to get the games...but not sure! bellazoemom...we originally booked a Balcony Guarantee and ended up on deck 7 in cabin 7206. We had tons of privacy and thoroughly enjoyed the extended balcony. The cabin location was nice as well...centrally located! Some highlights...our cabin steward was one of the best we've ever had! Yopie actually teared up today as we were leaving, which of course made me cry. He was incredible and such a nice guy! We had an issue with my meal the first night we ate at Nick and Nora's...but the problem was handled in a very professional manner by Claudia the Hostess, Will at the Concierge desk, the chef in Nick and Nora's and especially the Chef Servers we met. we dined there again later in the week and then they invited us back for dessert and coffee on them last night! YUMMY!!! I wrote a personal note to the Captain the first day and requested a bridge tour. He wrote back, declined the request, but gave us a copy of the Miracle book that is in the cabin with a personalized note in it. Would've loved the bridge tour obviously...but was nice to at least hear back from him! That's all for now...will write more again later!
