Any Post-Cruise Suggestions on Debarkation Day (late flight)

:D Hey Folks

 

We are on the August 6 - 13, 2006 Mariner and have a late flight out of Orlando on the 13th. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of good post cruise tours (Everglades, NASA) to take before the flight.

 

I think the Everglades would be fun, but HOT and HUMID, and with no shower before we got on the plane, we'd be uncomfortable all the way home!

 

Any help or suggestions/opinions is greatly appreciated!

If you have the time, go see NASA. We only had about 4 hours for it, but it's really a fascinating place to visit.

How about going to one of the Disney water parks. It's a fun day and you get to shower before you go to the airport.

Does RCI offer any of the disney water parks as a package or would I have to do that separately?

Separately. You can rent a car in Port Canveral, go to Disney world to the water park and then drop the car at the orlando airport. That will also allow you to store your luggage in the car's trunk.

As you drive east on the 528 toll road into Orlando (and past airport) may also want to look for 'Wet N Wild' water park. Near end of toll road, just take left onto International Drive and go down a few blocks. Lots of restaurants along I-Drive if also looking to get a bite to eat before hitting park or getting back down 528 to the airport. bpwjr
