Cruise Parking in Vancouver B.C. June 12th 2023

We are sailing on Disney Wonder on June 12.  The Main terminal parking is full.   Does anyone have suggestions on where we can park?

There are lots of parking lots near the pier (downtown is VERY compact), with prices comparable to the pier lot (~$25/day) but personally I'd suggest the long-term airport lot as the best value (about half that price) and also probably the safest option for your car. You can drop people and bags at the pier, only have the driver head out to YVR, and take the Canada Line from Templeton Station right at the value lot for the cheapest possible deal. On the way to embark the additional airport AddFare of $5pp makes the inbound trip over double the cost of heading from downtown to YVR.

 

Another way to do it which still saves money but is quicker than driving to the pier yourself first is to head straight to YVR parking as you come into town, then take (free) SkyTrain ride from parking lot to YVR terminal, then take a fixed-price cab (CAD$38) to the pier all together.

 

Everyone traveling together on SkyTrain after disembarkation from the cruise makes sense from both a cost and time perspective - SkyTrain costs very little (at most <CAD$5pp) and saves time due to avoiding downtown traffic; unless you plan a cross-Canada drive eastward before heading home being in Richmond is very convenient for heading straight to the border.
