Rare DrUrsula Posted May 14, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 14, 2023 Hello! Traveling on Encore in December and have been reading about nightmarish wait times for tenders to GSC. We booked a cabana and want to get the most use out of it as possible . A couple of questions: Is "priority tender tickets" for Sapphire actually a "thing" or will we be relegated to FCFS sign up for tickets? Do cabana guests get priority tender tickets? Thank you so much! Ursula

Do cabana guests get priority tender tickets? Your shore excursion tickets ARE your priority tickets. Only going as early as possible gives you the best opportunity to maximize your day on GSC. If you happen to be in the Haven, you can be escorted to the security line to board next available tender. By the way, did you book a Villa, or, a cabana? Cabanas are on the main beach, not nearly as nice, and will not receive the same type of overall perks, as the Villas at Silver Cove receive! * Latitudes status might, or might not, be noticed for either situation, with the exception of ShorEx discounts. *
Rare BirdTravels Posted May 14, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 14, 2023 Anyone with a ShoreEx ticket has “priority” as do Sapphires. “Priority” means you can join the back of the tender line. Only Haven guests actually get escorted to the front of the line.

I have been reading stories of 2 hour waits to leave the ship at GS; trying to decide if the cost of the villa is worth it if we cant get off the ship. Its just two of us so we are a little hesitant if there is indeed two hour delays in getting off the ship as I have been reading about. Im never sure what "priority" means with NCL anymore!

We generally get up EARLY, so we are able to get into the line for tender boats as early as possible. However, depending on the ship, they might handle things differently. If I were you, I would ask at the ShorEx desk (the day before, or earlier) what they recommend to maximize your day.
