If you book Vibe Beach Club do they give you a special key card or is it just loaded on your seapass card?

It used to be a separate card, but now it is on your cabin card.   At least that was the way it was on the Joy last year.

Cabin card doubles as Vibe card. 

 

On the Prima a few weeks ago, the bartenders also put a sticker on the back of it...not exactly sure why, but I'm assuming it was for the drink staff roaming the loungers.

If you had a sticker on your card it meant that they checked the card to see if you belonged in the Vibe. A lot of people were walking in when the doors opened and they didn't belong in there.

Your Key Card is coded so that it will open the sliding door into the Vibe.  Our past two cruises (Encore in January and Joy in March) they also put an envelope in the stateroom with a letter with the Vibe hours and services along with wristbands.  Most everyone wore the wristbands for the first couple of days, but then cut them off once it was clear who had Vibe access.

Depends on the ship. It may be a shipboard technology issue. On the Encore last summer it was encoded on the cabin card. On the Getaway this past January it was a separate card. Can’t recall on Bliss or Escape…..

Encore November it was encoded on the cabin card and they gave wrist bands that I think I only saw one couple wearing (ours were on our back pack which they said was "OK").
