Making specialty dining reservations question

Hi! We are going on our first NCL cruise in two weeks time. It appears that when attempting to make special dining dinner reservations for my family of three on the NCL application, I encountered a restriction. The application only provides options for selecting dining reservations for two persons, four persons, six persons, and so on. This limitation posed an issue since our party size did not fit into those predefined group sizes. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar situation and found a solution to this problem.

Yes, this is a common problem. Just book for 4 people. It will be no problem.

Just make a reservation for 4, they will adjust when you arrive at the restaurant.

And don't fret about making sure they know before you arrive at the restaurant that there are only 3 of you, you'll get a table for 4 anyway...

Reservations for your cruise opened months ago (130/125/120 days before sail date) so you might not get the dates/times that you want.
