carnival03 Posted May 22, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 22, 2023 Hi Y'all, So it's been about 8 years since we cruised Carnival and the whole idea of an 'arrival time' is new to us. I assume that everyone selects an arrival time at check-in, right? Is it the earlier you do online check-in, the higher chance of an earlier arrival time selection? Now, if we throw FTTF into the mix, does that change anything? Do you still get an express line at embarkation? It may also be worth mentioning we're sailing out of Baltimore, and yes, I know, it'll be later than usual. Thanks!
CruizinSusan70 Posted May 22, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2023 The suites and platinum/diamonds get first priority. Then those people that purchase FTTF. Then general boarding begins. You're assigned a boarding group number and half hour window to physically show up when you check in on line.
Rare PrincessArlena'sDad Posted May 22, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 22, 2023 Yes, the earlier you check in on line, the better the chances of an earlier boarding time. Most priority groups check in at 16 days. FTTF checks in at 14 days. Apparently most ports allow priority groups, including FTTF, to ignore arrival times and to come whenever they want. I haven't heard about Baltimore specifically.
