Visitors to Ship

Does Regent still allow a visitor to board whilst in port?

We have a friend who will be in Bermuda at the same time as our Navigator.

They cancelled visits for COVID....I doubt they are allowed but I would be happy to be wrong.

Probably not allowed; but "not asking is an automatic NO."  Have your TA ask Regent whether this is possible. 

 

Our next cruise is an US river cruise, and our cruise line, American Cruise Lines, is once again allowing guests who are vetted well in advance.  We will have a dinner guest one night.  Maybe Regent will allow a guest.

Not allowed? NOT TRUE! We had visitors join us on Navigator a couple of weeks ago when we docked in Jacksonville.

Note that the local authorities may have a say in the matter as to whether they will allow "outsiders"....so I have been told.  🙄

Visitors were also allowed on our Splendor cruise in March 2023.

I phoned Regent twice this morning and was told by both representatives that they are not allowing visitors at this time.

Often they are better informed than the phone agents.  They can take a while to get back to you.

If this does not work, go to Guest Services after boarding and submit the request.  Things are sometimes handled differently once you are on the ship.

I received the Visitor Registration form from the special requests email.  It clearly states a 30 day advance request.  We depart June 11th.  I’ll submit it and see what happens.
