Taxis available late at night at Gare d’autocars de Montreal?

We are arriving by bus at 9:30pm two nights prior to our cruise. Will taxis be available at the bus station or will we need to call for one? Thanks for any info!

You should be able to depart readily by taxi; it is a busy place open 24 hours daily (while I have been there many times at that hour, I have always departed by Métro rather than taxi). Given your scheduled arrival time, I assume that you will be arriving on the Greyhound Lines coach departing at 1:00 p.m. from Boston, so you are likely to find others similarly situated.

Where are you staying in Montreal? We're just starting to cope out places near the port.

Staying at the InterContinental Montreal. I believe it is near Old Montreal and the cruise port.

It is near Victoria Square. Under one kilometre from the Port de Montréal, ten minutes walking. Not within the old part of the city, but nearby. A reasonably convenient and comfortable, if sterile, place to stay.

Yes, I have a lot of reward points, so the 2 nights are free. We do enjoy staying in independent hotels, but free is good too 😀
