When do you learn your assigned fixed dining time

Recommended Posts

I have just made a deposit on the Oosterdam Spanish Farewell leaving Barcelona on Nov 1.

On the HAL website it allegedly allows one to choose early or main fixed dinner seating. But when I tried, I could only book the specialty restaurants. Does the ability to choose a dinner seating only appear after final payment, or should I ask my PCC to act now on my choice?

Any insight will be most appreciated.

You choose early or fixed dining time from your travel agent/HAL Personal Consultant (PCC) when you book.  If you have neither, call HAL.

You learn your assigned dining time and table number when you look at your stateroom key card found in your mail box.  If you don't like either, you can switch to anytime dining for the rest of your cruise.

Or you can go to the MDR soon after you board and the MDR manager should be at a table to help guests change their tables or dining times.  We have always been able to change ours at this time.
