Lunch in Windjammer on seadays

Recommended Posts

Hello,

We will be going on our first cruise in July. We will be sailing on the Jewel of the seas. I am looking at lunch and dinner options and I am checking the menu’s in the app. I sea breakfast, early and dinner menu’s. What does ‘early’ mean? The early dinner seating lunch?

I am confused because I cannot see a difference for sea days and port days and I thought the MDR is only open for lunch on sea days.

MDR and Windjammer are 2 separate places.  Windjammer is the buffet , no menu, just grab a plate and choose what you want to eat.  MDR is main dining room where you are served by a waiter from a menu,

With that in mind, the Early/Late tabs for MDR seem to be there just to confuse people since the menus are identical for either seating.

Or for people who just know "I'm eating <early/late> in the MDR" and look for that vs thinking the menu would be the same between them.
