Private tour from Invergordon, Scotland - recommendations?

We are a party of 4 looking for recommendations for a private tour of Loch Ness area and possibly including Inverness sights.  Anyone have any first hand experiences with private tour companies for this port?  Thank you in advance.

We did a Dunrobin Castle tour a few years ago with Gavin at Invergordon Tours and really enjoyed it. He has Loch Ness tours on his website.

I'm not a local, I only know the area from road trips.

 

Invergordon is quite a small commercial port (main industry is maintenance & repair of oil rigs - you'll see some near where you berth) so just a couple of local operators.

So Google local towns -  "Inverness tour operators Scotland" and "Dingwall tour operators, Scotland".

And of course "Invergordon tour operators Scotland" (includes the one mentioned by rdt

I would second Invergordon Tours. Gavin held our booking open due to the pandemic and it was worth waiting for. Our driver on the day was Jim and we had a great day from start to finish. Book early because their slots full very quickly.

In 2019, we used John McCormack from www.seethehighlands.com.  

It was just my husband and myself, but we wanted to do more than the ship offered. 

John was fantastic.  He had some tours to pick from but we worked ahead of time with him and told him what we wanted and he customized a trip for us.  He was well worth it.

I have used Wow Scotland Tours, although this was before the pandemic. However it was a very good tour which covered Culloden and Loch Ness amongst other things.
