I did it in March. I enjoyed it. If you have your own snorkeling gear and want to do the drift snorkel at Klein Bonaire it's less expensive to just take a water taxi and then you can spend as much time there as you want. I would definitely do it that way if I were to go back.

 

Benefit of the excursion is that they take you in zodiacs to where the drift snorkel begins so you don't have to walk (but the walk isn't that far). And they'll keep ferrying you back to the start as many times as you want. I did it twice.

 

Note that you have to climb onto the boat. Climb! Some folks struggled with this. The crew will help you best they can, but you still have to climb up using various foot and hand holds, which they will point out to you.
