RumAndCoconuts Posted June 15, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 15, 2023 Hi Everyone, I have booked a cruise out of Vancouver (local) to Alaska for the end of September. My Canadian passport expires in December. I was wanting to wait to renew it as they are rolling out a new format later this summer. According to Homeland Security the requirement for Canadians is just that the passport is valid at the time of entry. No six month or 3 month minimum whatsoever. What I need to know is if Royal Caribbean has their own rules on this. Their website says all foreign passports must be valid for six months. I've heard contradicting reports. I will renew early if I have to but would rather wait. Does anyone know definitively what Royal Caribbean will do? Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance We traveled in March and my wife's Canadian passport did not have 6 months left on it. No issues.

Rare Ferry_Watcher Posted June 15, 2023 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2023 If I was checking you in for an Alaska cruise in Seattle, there would be no problem as long as your passport was still valid by the end of your cruise.
