Taxi price from cruise terminal to Queen's staircase, wait, and back?

The walk looks a little too much for those with us as no staircases and up hill form some folks 

 

If we wanted a basic taxi there and back what kind of price would we be looking at ?  Only looks a whole mile but not an easy one with sidewalks and such.

 

Is there Uber or anything?

I would just walk to the jitney (bus) stop at Bay and Frederick Sts and ask which bus goes there. $1.25/pp each way (exact change requested). There should be a bus stop nearby for your return, and actually drivers will stop for you if traffic allows…

We take the #10 that runs from town to Cable Beach, but another bus may be a better choice. The drivers can help you…
