We owe it to many great crew members that we met that it was still a memorable cruise. In their way, they gave their very best to make it a unique, unforgettable cruise for me. I've met a lot of new fellow travelers who have contributed to making this trip memorable. And many excellent guides on land who have broadened our horizons in their particular way. It was a lesser product but still an extraordinary journey because many people were exceptional and made something special out of it.
A cruise is more than just a ship. It's the people who make everything unforgettable!

We are celebrating our 25th Anniversary aboard the OOSTERDAM while in Praia da Vitoria, Terceira, Azores, Portugal.

 

Our first excursion takes us through lava caves.

We've been to Malaga, Spain, many times - but the Picasso Year is reason enough to visit the Museum.
