Ovation Sept-Oct 2024 20 day France, Italy & Maltese Gems

I have a deposit down on the Ovation departing Sept 20, 2024. While on the Seabourn website I noticed that this itinerary and several before have been removed. I also checked cruise mapper and the Ovation's sailings during this time have also been removed. It seems odd that this ship disappears from many websites during September and part of October.  I had my agent check with Seabourn and they said it's still going, must be sold out and that's why it's been pulled. Doesn't give me a lot of confidence that it has also been removed from Cruisemapper -- that has nothing to due with availability unless that site pulls data from the cruise lines websites. Is anyone else on this sailing and do you think its safe to buy non-ref air late this fall?

That sure sounds like a dry dock.

One of the features Seabourn removed from their website is the ability to search for “unavailable” cruises - you could see if it was sold out.

 

Seabournis not very transparent about dry dock schedules or private bookings.
