Chris_FL Posted June 27, 2023 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2023 So many questions. I just booked the express train from La Spieza to Florence. It stops in Pisa. The connection is 5 minutes. Is it possible to make this connection. If we miss the connection do I have to purchase new tickets or can I use the tickets on the next train. Is the Pisa station a big station? euro cruiser Posted June 27, 2023 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2023 It's a decent sized station, but they wouldn't program it this way if it wasn't possible to make the connection. You'll likely need to go down a flight of stairs to the underpass and up again to the next track, but it's only steps away. According to the program, your first train arrives on platform (binario) #4, while the next train departs from #8. These may change in practice, but that's the published plan. I feel a little better about this. I'll make sure I have my running shoes on.
