shortened itinerary-same cruise experience?

We just booked a 5 night special itinerary on the Serenade of the Seas out of San Diego. Does anyone know if they do the same shows/commediens and special theme's, etc. even though it is a shorter cruise? Or do they cut out a lot of the special things because it's 2 nights shorter? I've never done one of these repositioning type cruises. Thanks
