RedJessi Posted July 2, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 2, 2023 In reading the Royal package website it states the following: The following are not included in photo packages: Photos of others in your party not traveling in your stateroom; Group, Wedding, Quinces, Private Studio photography and other special occasion photography; Specialty Dining photography; generic photos of the ship, characters, ports of call, etc.; any special printing or retouching requests. When it says "generic photos of the ship, characters, ports of call, etc" are they referring to photos taken of your party with those included - like ship in the background, your kids with dreamwork penguins - or are people after photos of JUST those images without themselves in the picture at all? LeeW Posted July 2, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 2, 2023 No, the generic photos are not of your group. Things like drone view of the ship. These photos were often on a table in the photo shop and don't show up when you do a kiosk view of your cabin photos. Haven't seen them for a while, although I also don't look for them. Photo package includes any photos taken onboard or in ports with various backgrounds. You need at least one person in the cabin purchasing the package to be in the photo (although the photo studio can add in shots from minors in a second cabin). You do need to give the cabin number to the photographer when the photo is taken (and photos still might not show up associated with your cabin). Five or six people in a standard setting isn't going to cause a problem, but they may balk at a 20 person wedding photo that happens to include one person from the cabin.
