jazz1180 Posted March 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2006 I will be sailing the Adventure of the Seas later in the year and have reserved a tour with Thriller Ocean Tours. Stephen emailed to confirm and said that the tour would start at 12:30 Barbados time. Can someone who has sailed with RCI tell me if the ship's time will be the same as the local time. Our tour is supposed to be 3 1/2 hours long and I want to make sure we have enough time to get back to the ship. Our ship sails out at 5:30pm (ship's time) Thanks! serene56 Posted March 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 15, 2006 If you ship sails at 5:30 you will need to be onboard by 5pm. San Juan and Barbados is on the same time. Both places do NOT observe daylight savings time.
Snow Bird Posted March 16, 2006 #3 Share Posted March 16, 2006 Jazz1180 Adventure of the Seas sails out of Puerto Rico & it's always the same time as Barbados. If you are doing a 12.30p.m. 31/2 hour tour you will get back at 4p.m. & the Bridgetown Port is only a 5 minute Taxi ride back as Thriller is located on the Waterfront in Bridgetown. You got lots of time, I'm sure you won't be the only ones from your ship on the tour.
