Would you recommend the Gallery Hotel in Barcelona?  We just returned from the same trip you did and stayed two nights in the Vividora Hotel on de Duc in Barcelona which our TA had selected.

 

Our hotel was clean, modern, trendy, with friendly competent service but breakfast was 29 Euro each, the bathroom had almost zero counter space, the beds were hard, and there was a noisy rooftop terrace bar (they were partying up there until 4am on a Sunday morning) one floor above us.

 

But we loved Barcelona and want to got back.  The Wine and Tapas tour we did there was a highlight of the trip.

 

Thanks for your trip report.  It gave us lots of good ideas when we did the same itinerary.
