debbyma Posted July 31, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2023 We have a future cruise booked that disembarks in Monaco. It is also listed as a tender port. Does anyone have an idea about how that would work? It's hard to imagine getting all the luggage off on a tender, not to mention people with their carryon's. Rare DrKoob Posted August 1, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2023 We have sailed into Monaco on two different ships (the last was a Viking Ocean) and both times our itinerary said "Tender" and both times we docked.
Rare pinotlover Posted August 1, 2023 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2023 I don’t know your cruise, but sometimes it’s both. Sidney is a good example. Oceania wanted to save port dock fees, so they would tender in the bay, on the last cruise day. All the shore tours would run from the tenders. On Embarkment/Disembarkment Day, the ship would pull into the dock.
Rare DENIE Posted August 3, 2023 #4 Share Posted August 3, 2023 Last June on the Riviera we docked in a very nice facility. It was just a port stop for us though, no embark or disembark.
