When Is Formal Night on a 4 Day Cruise

Which night is usually formal night on a 4 day Bahama cruise?

When my DH and I were on the Soverign back in January on the 4 day cruise the formal night was Tuesday. Since this was our first cruise I am not sure if that is the "standard" night or not.

Thanks. This is our first cruise too. The daughter's wedding is the day of departure, I was hoping the formal night would not be the same. I wanted to get to "dress up" a couple of times.:p

I understand what you mean. Dressing up for dinner is fun especially since it is not something that one does everyday. Best of luck on the upcoming wedding. A cruise is a great way to relax after the stress all the wedding planning.

Formal night is the 2nd night, and when you move up to a 7 day cruise you will have 2 chances to "dress up", the 2nd night & 5th night. :D Congrats on the upcoming wedding! When do you sail?

If your on the Majesty it will be the night you are in the Port of Nassau.

Thanks. We sail May 15th out of Miami and we're all really excited. There was suppose to be a big wedding here, but the reception place notified us 4 months before the wedding that they were going out-of-business. Impossible to find somewhere with her date open with only 4 months left, so the cruise was a last minute switch. Exciting, but definitely didn't have the time to a lot of research. Just a tad nerve wracking going into this blind, but I'm confident it's going to be a fabulous wedding and cruise.

Majesty’s formal night is Tuesday. After dinner and photos make sure you change clothes for the party on the pool deck as the ship leaves Nassau. Enjoy:)

Are you talking about a 3 NIGHT/ 4 DAY cruise, or a 4 NIGHT/5 DAY cruise?

 

And, if it's a 4 nighter, there is one formal night, right?

This cruise is 4 nights/5 days. Thanks Realtorron for the tip about changing and the party on deck. That's the first I've heard or read about that. Sooooo much to learn ... :rolleyes:

Formal nights can vary on a seven day cruise, they're not always 2nd/5th.
