Casino Blackjack Question

I like to play Fun21 blackjack in the Princess’ casinos.  On my most recent Princess cruise this past February, Fun21 was hand shuffled and dealt, while all the other BJ games were dealt from a shuffle machine.  I don’t like the shuffle machines, and am concerned that Princess may be changing Fun21 over to a shuffle machine.  Has anyone been on a recent Princess cruise and noticed how Fun21 is being dealt?  Thanks for your input.

I’ve been on ships with Fun 21 and some used a 6 deck show, some used a shufflematic. Not sure what determines that. Maybe the house goes to the shufflematic if they’re losing! 😀

You’ll do better if you avoid the gimmicks ($1 side bets, etc) and just play it like regular blackjack.

“Fun 21” itself is a gimmick.  You’d do better playing regular blackjack instead.

But to each his own!

You are incorrect.  When played with the correct strategy the Fun21 game has less of a house advantage than any other table game offered on the ship, including the $25 minimum bet standard 3:2 blackjack.

Of course, most BJ players that venture into Fun21 are either unaware of the correct Fun21 strategy or don't want to put in the effort to learn it.
