Miami Hotels

I will be sailing out of Miami with Carnival in January 2007. I was wondering if anyone has booked their hotel through Carnival. They won't tell me a price and I want to know if it is really cheaper than what the hotel actually charges. We are thinking of staying at the Hyatt Regency, which is really close to the pier. Has anyone stayed there?

We stayed at the Holiday Inn that is located right across the street from the Bayside Marketplace. The hotel was fine, but the really nice thing is it's location. We walked over to the Marketplace a couple of times to eat. We took a tour of Biscayne Bay from the Marketplace and we shopped. We also had great views of the port and the ships.

 

I've not stayed at that Hyatt, but I am sure it will be very nice. I've read many posts from people who have stayed there, and they were quite happy.

 

We also booked our own hotel. I'd price the hotel online and then see what Carnival will charge, then go with the cheapest.
