drgigi Posted August 10, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 10, 2023 Does anyone have suggestions for a hotel in Quebec City that is convenient to the port?
Emdee Posted August 10, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 10, 2023 Chateau Frontenac is our favourite.
Out2See Posted August 10, 2023 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2023 What Emdee said. Historic Hotel high a cliff that overlooks where the ship is docked.

Any other recommendations? My travel agent said that it's nice, but very small rooms and very expensive and not anything special. It still might be the best in town, but curious whether anyone has other recommendations (My cruise out of there is not til 2024).
skybluewaters Posted August 10, 2023 #6 Share Posted August 10, 2023 We stayed at Hôtel le Priori several years ago and liked it. Small boutique hotel located very near to the pier...in fact, we walked to the ship for embarkation. Located close to all the sites you want to see in QC. Has a nice lounge/bar. However, the standard rooms are tiny, so you should seriously consider their larger-sized rooms.
boatbob Posted August 10, 2023 #7 Share Posted August 10, 2023 I agree Hotel le Priori was terrific & great location could see the ship from our window.
cruise_loverinlaval Posted August 10, 2023 #8 Share Posted August 10, 2023 Hôtel Le Germain is a very good place to stay! You could have a room 275 square feet. Have a nice stay!

The only thing I don’t like at Fairmont hotels are the mattresses. I remember the bar manager giving us a free tasting of various Quebec liquors after we had a chat with him.
