I believe the expedition ships have neither a TK Grill or a casino.

That makes it a big NO for us.

Hi Linda.  I don’t care about the Grill so much (although it WAS fabulous on our recent Ovation cruise in Iceland/Denmark), but I like some of the menu items.  I’m not a casino person - even when we go to Las Vegas for a show and dinner.  I thought about you when we passed “your loungers” a couple of weeks ago.  BTW, the new CD on our cruise, Loula, was wonderful; such a refreshing change from the usual, formulaic CDs. Perhaps we will see you on a future cruise as we are looking at options for 2024 and again in 2025.

Hi Hope

thank you for remembering us!

We have a few cruises upcoming but they are all in the Caribbean.  I’ve been having some health issues so we are staying closer to “home”.
We remember fondly our COvation, The Holiday Cruise!
I agree with you about certain items at the TK Grill but we understand the menu has changed slightly.  We will be on the Quest in November so hopefully will get to see.  We will be back on the Ovation in the spring (as much as we hate the Barbados embarkation port).

I hope you enjoy the new ships.

A casino is kind of mandatory for us - I am headed to Vegas next week to “rescue” the money I left there in June!

All the best!

Agree Loula is very good.  When were you on, we embarked on July 9th and were on for 21 days

Looks like we got on as you got off, in Reyjkavik.  I thought the cruise was excellent (near pre-pandemic standards) with the only hiccup being service in the Colonnade in the mornings, probably due to understaffing.  Since I like a quick bite, the Restaurant is not an option for me, and it was too cold to eat outside.

@LMB01. Sorry about the health issues.  Makes sense not to travel too far from US.  Good luck in Vegas.  (Our fave restaurant is there - The Palm - even though Landry’s, it’s still the best lobster.)
