Carnival Venezia deck 12

Has anyone ever booked a cabin on deck 12 of the Carnival Venezia?  I have been offered an upgrade and I would appreciate your opinions.  Thank you.

We stayed on deck 11. Fewer cabins on that deck so it was relatively quiet. Still easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. Hope this helps you a little bit if this is your concern.

Thank you mar214  Yes that is something I was looking for.

We had cabin 12237 recently. The balconies on deck 12 and deck 14 are terraced, meaning there is no roof covering the balcony, so you will be exposed to the sun and elements. Also, our cabin in particular had no cabin above it and instead had stairs above it leading to the water slides and Serenity deck. So you will hear the people and kids running up the steps above you to get to the waterslides. Also, I often found spit out gum, trash, beer cans and cigarette butts on the balcony that the jerks going up the steps decided to throw down onto our balcony.

 

If you look on the ship map, the overlay does not match up to the deck plans evenly so be forewarned about this particular cabin.

Thank you stobe1.  Very good info. Not having a covered balcony is very good info for me.  On that point, I will most likely turn down the upgrade.
