What's appropriate tipping for tours through the Cruise line?

I've always done my own tours but this time I wasn't able to plan anything. I will now have to book through the ship for my Canada trip. What is the tip amount given to the bus driver & the tour guide? Do you hand each one their tip as you leave the bus?

Thanks

The tour guides are not Carnival employees but their companies do contract with Carnival. I tip them similar to tipping private excursions or a little less because the group they have is usually much larger than a private tour and they give less personal service.

I need someone to be a little more specific on the monetary amount. I would give $5 to $10 for a personal tour which usually means the driver is also the tour guide. The cruise line fills a bus of 50 people therefore what is expected with a large group for the bus driver & tour guide?
