port time change excursion won't fit???

I was just looking at the schedule and it looks like they changed the departure time in port said to 7PM

 

Ours and another excursion are over 13 hrs long.  How are they going to fit that in a from 6 am to 7 pm?

....and they are charging extra for it so if they shorten it do we get a refund   I guess they don't think these things through very well.

This happens sometimes as late as when the ship actually arrives at the port. Changes and delays happen and the tours are adjusted accordingly. The duration of the tours is just an estimate anyway not exactly 13.5 hours etc. 
 

excursion start times and lengths  are easily changed (usually anyway) to accommodate port changes. We have never missed the highlights of any all day tour regardless of the actual length.
 

If they don’t cancel the tour they will adjust it to fit with the port time. No refund unless the tour sites are changed big time. It will still be a all day tour. According to your times it only amounts to 25-50 minutes. Long tours have extra time built in and especially in Egypt ( you may have a police escort we did so you breeze past traffic ) You will report early and be the first tours off the ship and the crew will be waiting to pull the pull the gangway in behind you as you board. If they cancel the tour you will get your money back.
