QM2 plug sockets

Due to sail on the qm2 just wondering does anyone know what type of plug do you need a English 3 pin or American 2 pin type in your cabin

Just off QM2 today.

 

In QG, I'm sure we had 3 x 13A sockets.

Just off. I plug in an adapter that gives me 3 more USA 3 pin and 2 USB ports

There used to be some secret 3 pin UK sockets where the bedside lights are plugged in, but you need to move the bed, if they are still there.

Take both to make sure you have enough. After plugging in the coffee maker, the water kettle, the light on the desk, the hair blower…I just think you can never have too many.

They were, last July. I like to plug my laptop in there, since I can then use the laptop's USB ports, as well as work from bed. It's not that hard to pull the bed out to get access to those outlets. All you need is an adapter that will give you 2 or 3 UK outlets in place of the 1. Which, in the States, was hard to track down. I think I bought 2 at Currys in Southampton, before boarding. I also bought a cable with a UK plug for my laptop to plug it in without using an adapter.
