@exlandlubber It is an excellent suggestion.  We went a couple of times when we lived in Madrid and were very pleasantly surprised by the food - so often "dinner and show" events are disappointing, not the case here!  Please don't worry about the taxis.  Your hotel will instruct the driver, you can always have the address written down and hand it to the driver too.  And a "gracias" goes a long way 🙂  You can hail a licensed taxi on the street - if the green light on top of the taxi is lit then the taxi is available.
