You will need to check with your TA or Carnival on this to be sure. Carnival has started limiting the number of ships that have five passengers in a cabin. I believe that some of the ships still allow five to a cabin but it will be tight since one bed will have to be a roll away.

The Elation is a ship that does allow 5 to a cabin. (We are booked in one room with three of our children for August)

Depending on the ages (and/or sizes) of the children, they may find that they can do without the rollaway and keep that floor space. We've done 5 in a cabin before and found that the rollaway virtually eliminated all the floorspace. We asked that the rollaway be taken out and part of the time, two of the kids shared a bunk and a couple of nights one of them slept in the window area in our oceanview cabin. We had no problems whatsoever.

Thanks soccermommie- The girls are all young-the oldest is 13.And they are very petite. They won't have a problem sharing a bed.Or we can have three in our cabin instead of two. Will have to see if they even decide to go too.Having to try to convince a family who has never cruised is harder than a family who has cruised and absolutely loves it icon_biggrin.gif

I know once they go they will be hooked as I was.

Will call once I get an answer as to them choosing to travel with us for Christmas or not.

Thanks Again

Karen

I also have a family of 5. We are going on the Victory. They let 5 in any room, inside, balcony, penthouse suite - all except the cat 11 suite, which I cannot understand. I though I would book that because it had more room for a rollaway. The rollaways are just set up at night when you go to dinner. During the day it is folded up so you can move in the room.

Paradise also has cabins for 5 - one is on a rollaway. We orginally booked this for my family of 5 - but added another room because I was too worried about being overcrowded and one bathroom. My older boys will share the inside cabin across the hall and my 3 y.o. will have a rollaway brought in each night.
