There are films on the TVs in the room (often the same as in the cinema) and if I recall CC/subtitles are an option (as to their quality I can’t comment as we managed ok without them). you can contact accessibility@carnivalukgroup.com and they may be able to advise. When we have sailed on Disney, they advertise some showings of the same films with CC, which I think is an excellent idea and it surprises me that other cruise lines, which are likely to have far more passengers with hearing issues, do not do this. I have also never been able to access CC on the TVs either. I should add this is not for me, but for DH who prefers to read in any case, but I would like him to have the option.
Tess2326 Posted September 20, 2023 Author #8 Share Posted September 20, 2023 Hi that is right I have been Disney cruise several times. Last time outside deck I saw CC on big screen. Also they provides two interpreters and fire alarm with door bell too. Disney have good disabilities. I will email to P@O when the near times.
Red Ray Posted September 20, 2023 #9 Share Posted September 20, 2023 No subtitles in the cinema on Arvia, but most of the in-cabin films have them.
