Last minute cruises

Is this a thing anymore?  We recently earned the Southwest companion pass and would like to do some last minute cheap cruises, but it seems that's not happening anymore.  Any suggestions?

It's hard to find deals anymore unless it's Alaska or some obscure destination.

Not really.  Everything seems to be sailing pretty much at capacity right now so there is no need to discount.

Maybe check with a travel agent? They may get notices about last-minute deals...

If you are open to other cruise lines, there are plenty if last minute deals.  I have a great time on multiple cruise lines.

There are ALWAYS last-minute cruise deals.  I am inundated with great offers from many cruise lines (even Viking!), but I have dogs, and last-minute boarding in the dog kennels is never available around here. 

 

However, how last-minute do you want to travel? In days, weeks, or months?--your time constraints could have an impact.  Almost every day Cruise Critic publishes last-minute deals on the website--you could also use the search engine and check potential dates and departure ports to compare prices.  I will say I frequently get better results from other venues as compared to Cruise Critic.
