Kevinc6969 Posted March 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2006 Going to Bermuda in june and want to visit the caves. Were docking in Kings wharf and wondered how far they were from there. Also DW wanted to pick up some sea glass and wondered the closest beach either from Kings Wharf or from the caves. Only have 1 day so need to plan ahead to save time.. Swizzle v2.0 Posted March 17, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2006 To get to the caves you would have to take the ferry to Hamilton, then walk to the Bus Terminal and take a bus. I figure total travel time of an hour or more. The nearest beach to King's Wharf is Snorkel Park but that is man-made so I doubt there would be sea glass. I'm not sure what the closest beach with sea glass is, some posters have noted that you can find sea glass at some beaches near St. Georges, but that is the other side of the island from Dockyard (King's Wharf).
