Automatic tipping

Do you worry that all the tip won't go to the proper persons when you have the tip automatically billed to your account?

Nope, the staff all know how the system works, and they all know who left the tips on and who adjusted them up or down. It works great.

No, I love automatic tipping.

No.. I left the auto tipping on .. even tho we only used the dining room 2 nights.. our wait staff still received their portion of the tip even tho we were not there :)

There's an almost identical thread on "Ask a Cruise Question" forum. I just replied to it.

 

On Carnival ships, I've asked several crew members. They all assured me they DO get every penny of the automatic tips they're suppose to....i.e., $3.50 per day to cabin steward, $5.50 to waiter, etc.
