There was no line, no waiting for pizza. I dinged the bell and someone came out to take my order.

The sea rats were out today.

The pilot took forever to get off of our ship and back onto his boat. The pilot boat finally blew the horn a few times to hurry up. Then when the pilot appeared, he had a photographer with him. What a ham.

Whatever time MDR dinner was last night didn't matter because we ate in the steakhouse. We had lots of company.

They asked me so many times if there was a special occasion, I finally said okay. Oops. It wasn't. They also threw in a couple of glasses of champagne.

They still haven't updated the intranet version of the Fun Times. Not sure what's up with that.

 

Today is breakfast and lunch in the MDR instead of brunch.

There was an interesting and very poorly attended lecture on bears - polar, brown, and black. We won't be going far enough north for polar bears (although I know the Anchorage zoo had some).
