So we ate on Lido. I got Fish and Chips from the Seafood Corner.

Al Fresco is a special dinner they do on Journey cruises - typically for Diamond cruisers. They set up tables on Lido for 2 seatings - usually about 100 people each seating. There is no charge, but is by invitation only.

Not only diamonds-they will pick people who do MDR every night too.  We were on with friends and they do MDR every night where we only did it a few times with them and they received an invitation.  

 

They had another Al Fresco dinner tonight which certainly had a number of passengers who weren't Diamond.

As we entered, the fog only got heavier. at some point after you could no longer see the bow of the ship from the bridge, the Captain decided to turn around and forget it. Smart move.
