We are going a Baltic cruise later this year.

Need to know if it is best to get money for each country (to purchase souveniers) before we leave home, or wait till we arrive in that country.

We found the best exchange rate (and no additional fees) using our debit card for purchases.

 

When the debit card wasn't accepted, we used our credit card.

 

We got local currency from the ATMs for walking around money.
