I looked at Luggage Forward’s list  of prohibited items and was surprised. Then I checked out the TSA list which includes  Aerosol insecticides are not allowed in carry-on; however they are allowed in checked bags as long as they are not labeled as hazardous material (HAZMAT)..
I have purchased aerosol insect repellent and repel to be sprayed on clothing gear. If I am interpreting the information correctly I am uncertain how I will get these products to the ship. Please share any information that you have.

Are there any items I cannot send?

Yes, any hazardous or dangerous commodities are prohibited from all Luggage Forward shipments. For shipments traveling between two countries, there may be additional items that are restricted by customs on a country-specific basis.

Here are some of the most common items that cannot be shipped in your luggage:

  • Medication, OTC, prescription, or vitamins
  • Food & Alcohol
  • Perfume (or anything with alcohol content)
  • Pressurized Containers (aerosol, CO2 cartridges, etc)
  • Valuables or Currency
  • Electronics
  • Lithium based, or Alkaline batteries

For additional items that cannot be shipped, please visit https://www.faa.gov/hazmat/packsafe/

Violators of the Federal Hazardous Materials Regulations (49 CFR parts 100—185) may be subject to civil penalties of up to $75,000 for each violation ($175,000 if the violation results in severe injury or substantial destruction to property).

Upon booking, you will be provided with a list of common items that are disallowed. If you have specific questions, please contact one of our forwarding specialists or see our Terms of Service.

Since aerosol spray is prohibited how about getting Repel in the non-aerosol pump spray instead.  Maybe you can save or give away the sprays you have already purchased.  I like Repel also.  They sell wipes too for skin but wouldn't work to put on clothing.

(Sorry it's so huge!!!  I don't know how to shrink it)
