Ehg Posted September 17, 2023 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2023 Hi 👋🏻 We are going on our first MSC cruise in a couple of weeks. I see we should have some theme nights during our 15 night cruise. My question is, will we be told what these are going to be before we embark? I'm pretty sure one will be a “white night” and that is easy enough to pack for, but others have said they have had 70s/ABBA night. It’d be good to know before so we can pack appropriately. If we are told, will it appear on the app at some point? Thanks in advance

Ehg Posted September 18, 2023 Author #4 Share Posted September 18, 2023 It doesn’t seem that you get any prior notice of what the theme nights will be. We will be on Virtuosa out of Southampton, if anyone has recently sailed on that ship and can tell me what we might expect? 😊

Nunagoras Posted October 26, 2023 #8 Share Posted October 26, 2023 2 elegant nights and 1 white night is the norm for a 15 night cruise. Quite well attended here in Europe. There are some varying, sometimes sailing by sailing according to the actual sailings demographics, theme nights across the cruise, but those are mostly intended to the ones withing to engage on the activities provided by the animation team on one of the lounges after the 2nd show is done to later in the night, not for MDR purposes, other than a possible Italian night that usually replaces the white night on cruises that touch an Italian port of call. So; you'll have all casual nights, a casual white night and to elegant nights across your sailing.
