LAX to San Pedro Can Prime Time pick you up at the airport?

You just  hop on a bus right outside baggage claim to go to the LAX-It lot for Uber and Lyft.   Call while on the bus and your ride is there when you arrive or within a few minutes.   Easy-peasy.  Well marked for both Lyft and Uber.   For some reason I find Lyft cheaper from LAX>

Uber Black or a reliable shuttle company. PrimeTime is terrible.821 reviews on Google and they have an average rating of 1.3 out of 5.0

How would I go about finding a reliable shuttle company?

As I said - we want to be picked up curbside. We will probably have 5 pieces of luggage (2 carry ons  and 3 suitcases).

What's the current status of the taxi stands that are still operating AT LAX, rather than at the LAX-It lot? IIRC there is one (not useful for the OP unfortunately) near Terminal 7, but was there not one closer to the OP's Terminal 3, or is the T7 stand the only one?  We are flying in to Terminal 6 at LAX in a few weeks and plan to make the short walk to take a taxi from curbside to our hotel in Torrance.

There is a taxi stand inside Parking Structure 3 between TBIT (Terminal B) and Terminal 3, but for those who are cost conscience, a taxi is usually twice the cost of an Uber, Lyft or Opoli.

Thanks for the confirmation about the other taxi stand, we plan to use the other one near T7 when we arrive at T6 next week. I did a quick cross check with taxis and Uber between LAX at Terminal 7, and our hotel in Torrance. No tip of course, taxi was $36, Uber X was $25 (out of the LAX-It lot of course) and a UBlack right to the terminal was $60. For $11 we'll forgo forgo the joy of getting to the LAX-It lot and just walk the 5 minute 300 yards from T6 to T7 and grab a taxi.  The next morning from the hotel to SP Berth 93, Uber for sure.

How were you able to check all of those fares? We're staying in San Pedro the night before the cruise so I expect we'll be paying close to double on everything. but it sounds like we only have one choice if we want curbside.

We won't be able to walk to T7 from T3 with all of that luggage.

There is a taxi stand in the parking structure that is directly across the street from Terminal 3. Do check because LAX is a MESS, even more so than usual, with all the construction getting ready for the 2028 Olympics and beyond.

For an Uber estimate, and note it's only an estimate, as surge pricing may elevate the price:

https://www.uber.com/global/en/r/airports/lax/

Be sure to accurately enter your origin and destination, date, time of day etc, the Uber system should be able to auto-fill anywhere you are and want to go to.

For a taxi estimate, I used

https://lacitycab.com/taxi-fare-calculator/

Again, accurately enter your origin and destination.

And as Scott pointed out above, there is already a taxi stand near Terminal 3, we will be using the other one near Terminal 7

Thank you!

It looks like Uber Black ( the only one allowed curbside- right?) is $160 . (The X is $45 but not allowed curbside)

A taxi is $67 plus some fees so maybe $90 total.

So I hope that parking garage isn't too far of a walk with all of our suitcases!

Are there clear signs telling us where the taxi stand is?

EDIT: The taxi site led me to Ride Guru. Are any of their prices accurate?

They say Uber or Lyft Black are only (only is a relative term!!!) $100.

You're quite welcome.

Here is a screenshot from the LAX site roughly showing where the Terminal 3 taxi stand is located in the Parking Garage 3. We'll be using the other one, down near Terminal 7

As to EXACTLY where the taxi stand is, can't help you there as I've never been to T3. As Scott points out above, the taxi stand is in the P3 parking garage right across the road from T3, and there's a big pedestrian crosswalk to help get to the garage.

Used Executive Car Service , they were able to pick up outside baggage area across "traffic island"    did not need to go to LAXIT.  For extra $ they will come inside terminal and escort you out with your luggage to their parking area.  Very helpful, courteous and had a very safe driver.

Thank you. If this is them they were more expensive than Uber Black.

Close to $200 for the one way trip.
