Price Drop Question

We have a cruise booked thru Hotwire on the Victory for 7/8/04. The rate for our guaranteed balcony cabin has since dropped substantially per the Carnival website. Any chance of recouping some of our losses? All suggestions/advice welcome.

Thank You

vllygrrl,

It's like you read my mind. We also booked through hotwire, and noticed there was a drop in price. I've read the occasional thread that says there should be an onboard credit, but I'm not sure how to go about it.

Looking forward to hearing the responses.

Well...why don't you try contacting Hotwire to see if you can get shipboard credit? You've already paid in full, so Carnival won't give you a refund. The usual thing to do is contact the TA that you booked through.

I agree with Imsulin. The first thing to do is contact HotWire - or wherever you booked. YOU have to do the checking, as booking agents don't normally let you know when there's a reduced fare. Call now.

Thanks imsulin and cotton!

I took the advice and gave hotwire a call. I got a great agent who is helping me out with shipboard credit and an upgrade.

vllygrrl-call the hotwire number for cruising, very fast and easy!
