mollyanne Posted March 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2006 Looking for advice on what the weather might be like sailing the Atlantic from San Juan to NYC during the first week of May. Could anyone give an idea of what the temps might be? The last 3 days of this cruise would be at sea. I just don't have any idea what to expect... Thanks in advance, mollyanne:)
CateW Posted March 19, 2006 #2 Share Posted March 19, 2006 We did the reverse in 2004; sailed out of NY in May to SanJuan. Our first full dat at sea (your last) was very breezy but sunny and slightly on the cool side. After that, it was warm and sunny.
mollyanne Posted March 19, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted March 19, 2006 Thanks, Cate. I thought the last day would probably be the least perfect weatherwise but since we would have to pack, etc., probably wouldn't be too bad. Appreciate your response. mollyanne:)
goofyme Posted March 20, 2006 #4 Share Posted March 20, 2006 i think i am on the same cruise and wondered the same question...you figure you will be 200-300 miles south and usually it is warmer in the gulfstream, however, it is always window on deck..let's just hope for the best. the great thing is when we booked(assuming your on the golden princess) a few weeks ago both people i talked to mentioned all the availability of staterooms on the ship...Good for US!!
