Crystalcat Posted March 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted March 18, 2006 My family did this "on our own" rather than with the ship. We walked over to the Crystal Theatre (10 minute walk from the cruise pier - turn right on main road. It will be adjacent to the Crystal Casino and across the street from the ocean.) It was a little hard to find since it was upstairs through the mall area. Admission was $10 for adults and $5 for kids, but when we went, a couple infront of us had a half price discount coupon. The ticket taker ended up giving us the same deal so it was only $15 for our family of 4 to see it. I wanted our kids (9 and 11) to see something informative about the island, which it was. Unfortunately, we were part of 8 people in total for our viewing of the movie. The movie had a dated feel to it. We come from a large city with IMAX movies, so a travelogue split across these screens was a little low tech to our experience. Bottom line: informative, but don't pay full price. Even $15 was a bit of a stretch.
