Dali Museum north of Barcelona

Osterdam on 11/01/23 in Barcelona: Is anyone going on an excursion to the Dali Museum up the coast? My cabin mate would like to go. I have been and it is quite a wonderful museum and house. Filled with many pieces both finished and “in progress.”

We leave on Saturday for Lisbon and finish our cruise in Barcelona.  I have also been considering taking the train to the Dali Museum and wondered if it work worth to see for a day travel. Interested to see what others suggest.

Hi !

   We went there , in Figueres from Barcelona , with a car rental in November 2014 . The museum is quite interesting and we spent close to 4 hours visiting the creations of this very eccentric artist , Do not miss the jewelry section of the museum . We then had lunch  in a restaurant nearby ( excellent and affordable paella ) and then took the road to visit two of the Most Beautiful villages of Andalousia : Besalu and Castelfollit de la Roca  . A very interesting and inexpensive day !
